How does ‘social’ fit into your student recruitment activities?

There are a number of events coming up that will be of interest to you, or some of your colleagues involved in student recruitment and employer engagement within universities and TAFEs. Because these events aren’t specifically for education, it’s also an opportunity to learn about good practice for customer acquisition and retention in other industries. In my experience, there are always some interesting stories of success in other markets – like traditional or online retail – which provide innovative ideas for student recruitment in tertiary education.

The events are happening around the country during May, from the 2nd to the 15th.

Microsoft Switched On Briefings 2012
Putting the customer at the centre of your business with the social and mobile enterprise.

The move to the Social Business and the impact of Enterprise Mobility are core drivers in the transformation of the CRM market today.

Come and hear industry experts from Microsoft and some it’s key business partners discuss two of the major trends impacting CRM strategies today: the Social Business and Enterprise Mobility. Learn how you can capitalise on these for a thriving business and create more relevant customer interactions, all while helping your employee’s love their jobs.

CRM Anywhere

Customer facing individuals and business leaders are increasingly reliant on enterprise connectivity from a range of mobile devices. Accessing CRM information from anywhere and performing actions in real-time takes the power of productivity out of the office so you can get closer to your customers and prospects. See ground breaking, no compromise CRM “on the go”, on your favourite mobile devices.

Social CRM

The way that organisations and individuals interact is fundamentally changing with the explosion of social networks such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Harnessing the power of social technologies is key to your customer’s strategy moving forward. We’ll review why social matters to organisations and the business value it can bring. Discover how Microsoft’s social capabilities expand your ability to communicate in real time and drive more effective and relevant collaboration.

The agenda for each of the events is the same, with a different Dynamics CRM partner joining us at each event.

The agenda runs from 9AM to finish at 11:30AM, with a opening keynote which looks at the context at a high level, and then discussing how you can use CRM systems to enable your organisation to become more social and mobile when managing customer relationships – such as managing your future student recruitment pipeline.
