Announcing the 2019-2020 Microsoft Showcase Schools

Today, we celebrate the accomplishments of the inspiring leaders of 241 schools from 57 countries whose vision and perseverance are empowering every student to achieve more today and in the future. These schools represent the new cohort of Microsoft Showcase Schools, and we are thrilled to welcome them to the program!

Members of the Showcase School program are very diverse and what they have in common is a commitment to school-wide transformation—guided by Microsoft’s Education Transformation Framework—that starts with a clear and common vision and is sustained through a culture of learning, innovation and continuous improvement. These schools have demonstrated increased student outcomes and a consistent focus on future-ready skills.

The global Showcase School community comes together as a group to tackle challenges, celebrate successes, share learnings, and try new solutions in a vibrant online, Microsoft Teams community. As Showcase Schools continue their education transformation journey, they are supported by Microsoft, other partners and each other through capacity building, transformation guidance, peer learning, amplification opportunities and early access to research and solutions.

Driven by a desire to make a difference in students’ lives, both within the school walls and beyond those walls, Showcase Schools act as a lighthouse sharing their transformation and insights with other schools around the world. Each year, Microsoft Showcase School Leaders and the Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts in their schools share best practices online and in person at local events hosted by them and at global Microsoft and industry events.
