The Microsoft E2 | Education Exchange may be over, but educators are just getting started!

This year, Microsoft invited educators and leaders from around the world to virtually connect with other changemakers, collaborate on education solutions, and celebrate their collective successes at the seventh annual E2 | Education Exchange. Educators and leaders can now relive this once-exclusive event by viewing the inspiring keynotes, thought-provoking conversations, and education technology solutions—now available on demand. The summary below provides an overview of the three-day event and highlights a few of the virtual sessions that focused on everything from social-emotional learning to STEM education.

Whether you’re discovering the event for the first time or simply looking to rewatch a session you already attended, there’s plenty more E2 to explore:

Day 1: We kicked off the event with a welcome address by Anthony Salcito, Vice President of Microsoft Education, followed by a keynote from Dr. Jackie Sanderlin, author of The “Why Not?” Challenge: Say “Yes!” to Success With Community-School Partnerships. Dr. Jackie talked about the importance of educators feeling empowered to be the best version of themselves to inspire young scholars.

Day 2: After hearing from special guest, Andreas Schleicher, Director for the Directorate of Education and Skills, attendees were able to choose their own professional development path for the day. This included a wide range of sessions covering everything from student-centered learning to career development, all led by Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) Experts or Microsoft Showcase School leaders.

Day 3: Following the announcement of the Tech for Good Challenge winners, our guest speakers closed the event by sharing how being a part of the E2 community has helped them become the changemakers they are today.
