In support of assisting educators, school leaders, and training partners in the changing education landscape, we are excited to invite the education community to try the Microsoft Learn Educator Center. It is Microsoft’s centralized training and professional development platform where you can explore resources for educators and learn about programs, professional development offerings, and Microsoft technologies that advance teaching and learning practices. The Microsoft Learn Educator Center has replaced the Microsoft Educator Center (MEC) as our new home for the education community.

The move to online learning during the pandemic, followed by the slow and unsteady return to in-person and hybrid instruction, has permanently altered how educators create and share learning content. Teachers hold essential roles in their communities, and every aspect of what they do makes a meaningful difference. They educate future generations by using student-first technology and professional expertise to create high-quality learning environments where everyone can succeed. Since the return to in-person learning, educators have been working to evaluate students’ knowledge levels compared to pre-pandemic benchmarks, along with how to help students catch up, keep up, and get ahead. To support these efforts, Microsoft Education has commissioned a series of “Accelerate Learning Kits” to introduce teachers to free and easy-to-use tools and features that can help every learner achieve more. In this, the first of five posts highlighting the individual kits, we’ll take a look at “Accelerate Learning with Workplace Math Skills” to see how Math Assistant in OneNote for Education provides multiple accessible methods for students to write, solve, and practice equations.
Microsoft Education and LinkedIn were proud to be featured presenters and sponsors of last month’s ASU+GSV Summit 2022: Ed on the Edge. The Summit took on the complex and challenging topics at the "edge" of our society, highlighting the ideas, know-how, and talent needed to transform the world. Microsoft Education, LinkedIn workforce and skilling teams, and several of our Education Partners held hybrid sessions at the summit. Check out key summaries of the sessions and links to view them for free.

A few weeks ago, members of the Microsoft Education team took our first trip as a group in over two years, to Bett UK, the largest education conference in the world.
